Hollandsbjär is a 8 ha open, old grass moor. Hollandsbjär came to be a nature reserve primarily due to the richness of broom and pasque flower. As a visitor you get to see both hairy greenweed, which is the state flower of Halland, and also petty whin. The only place in Sweden where the petty whin grows is within the parish of Veinge and Hollandsbjär is one of the most valuable places for the species.
